The Hybrid collection

The work draws inspiration from the radiant vision of light. Light is made up of wavelengths of light, and each wavelength is a particular colour. The colour we see is a result of which wavelengths are reflected in our eyes. The Hybrid series explores matte and glossy textures, muted and bright colours through hand-throwing, hand-building and several glazing techniques.

The Hybrid collection is pieces close to my heart. Every part involves lots of time and care. Each work is unique and part of a limited series. 

The series started with Composition 01, 02 and 03 in 2021. I plan to continue the series and create new pieces to evolve the Hybrid collection.
